Justworks

Senior Software Engineer

• Worked on the company design system (Milo), in React, Typescript, and modern CSS. Created solutions with a focus on modern web technology, cross-compatability with numerous apps, and accessibility. Collaborated closely with designers, built up documentation with tools such as Storybook, and conducted research and training with other teams.
• Launched a front-end React app creation platform (Clockface), allowing teams to spin up a pre-configurated environment for speedy web development. Platform was built in React, Typescript, and CSS modules, with data integration through GraphQL (Apollo). The project focused on modularizing parts of our legacy Ruby on Rails monolith into reusable building blocks.
• Provided support for other team's integrations for third-party API's, including Forethought, Okta, and Heap. Implemented integrations, applied customized data collection and UI styling, and served as a liaison for non-engineering teams.

Senior Software Engineer

• Built new pricing API's for company-wide use with C# in .NET Core. Integrated API with Launchpad and Cockpit, for easier A/B Testing and configuration from business teams. Introduced comprehensive software testing (unit and integration) to the platform.
• Integrated API with Launchpad and Cockpit, for easier A/B Testing and configuration from business analyst teams. Designed and developed an additional internal front-end platform (with Angular) for business teams to view and edit settings.
• Worked with data science and business analyst teams to research and develop pricing strategies. Aggregated and organized data on the Azure platform using Node.js and MongoDB.

Software Engineer

• Spearheaded development of a new consumer facing sales platform (Vacations) in React and Typescript. Helped direct other teams of engineers to fulfill needs for both front-end development and back-end API's. Created comprehensive application testing, and automated deployment tools in Azure.
• Fostered collaboration between front-end developers and designers, encouraging preliminary design system work. Went through research, tech talks, and brainstorming, helping to decrease friction in sharing assets and knowledge in teams across numerous products and platforms.

• Full stack C#/.NET developer for an edTech platform specializing in exam creation, classroom activities, and take-home assessments.
• Rebuilt employee management site for account management and sales using AngularJS from legacy WebForms.

Teaching Assistant

• Assisted professors in teaching a core course on advanced software engineering in Java. Created curriculum tutorials and hosted exam prep sessions, held routine office hours, and provided additional individual support for students.
